The first stage has been completed successfully!
Yevgeniy Sukhonin, Export Manager for LEONI Kerpen (Germany):
We are a producer of cables for the oil and gas industry, based in the city of Stollberg. This is our debut at the Caspian Oil & Gas exhibition and we are confident that our journey has not been a wasted one! We don’t expect a vast number of visitors to view the demonstration of the products on our stand, but we know that it will attract the attention of specialists and professionals working for large enterprises in the oil and gas sector.
The industrial products presented by us are quite specific. Our clients include large engineering companies, construction firms, and, more generally, reputable players in the market. Major projects in the construction of oil and gas pipelines make use of our products.
We produce power cable, control and tool cables, cables for industrial automation, fiber-optic cables – all of which are on display at our stand. Due to the use of various materials, and taking into consideration our vast experience, we offer a wide range of products produced on order for certain projects and delivered to the construction site on the agreed date.
The size and reliability of our enterprise means that our participation in exhibitions is not for the benefit of our image but is purely motivated by a professional aspiration to promote ourselves in the local market. We already have representatives in other CIS countries and it is natural that we wish to expand our sphere of influence. Here in Azerbaijan we are interested in specific experts, manufacturers and entrepreneurs in the oil and gas and construction sectors. Two days before the event, we have had useful preliminary meetings with just such people. We have participated in several promising negotiations, but we have yet to sign any contracts, as further preparation is required before binding relationships can be formed.
Thus having participated in the Caspian Oil & Gas 2011 we can say that the first stage of our plans in Azerbaijan has been completed successfully.
