Industry News28.10.2013 09:26 Kenan Yavuz: “SOCAR-Turkey to raise investment in Turkey up to $50 bn”
Istanbul. Agshin Rafigoglu - APA-Economics. Azerbaijan is the largest investor in Turkey, head of SOCAR Turkey Enerji, board member of Petkim petrochemical holding Kenan Yavuz told reporters, APA reports.
To him, they TANAP allows delivery of Azerbaijani gas to Europe and this project is especially important: “The total amount of SOCAR’s investments in the projects implemented in Turkey will make $17 bn”
He said that at present, there is not any foreign investment worth $17 billion in Turkey: “We intend to raise this figure up to $50 bn. It will lead to opening of 17 thousand new jobs.”
